Scott Simons and Colourslide

Scott Simons finished a mix of his track "Ruin" w/ John Fields (Switchfoot, Pink, Rooney). Track sounds amazing and the rest of Scott's EP should be finished in October. Colourslide are finishing up mastering with Tom Baker (Hobbastank, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails) later this month.

Ted has been busy finishing up several new projects: The Blackout from Washington, DC recently finished up an EP with Ted and Mitch Easter, it sounds fantastic. No Second Troy are down from DC finishing up tracking on a record to be mixed by Jeff Juliano. Colourslide are in from Florida working on their debut album which will be mixed by Ken Andrews (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Pete Yorn, Mae). Colourslide also did mixes with Mike Plotnikoff (Hoobastank, My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects) and Mark Tromino (Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World, The Starting Line). Scott Simons (formerly of The Argument) is recording a new EP the summer. The songs as usual, are excellent! Look for the EP in Fall on Rostrum Records. The extremely talented singer-songwriter from Boston, JR is doing an EP with Ted in August. Nicki Gonzalez is coming down to complete her album later this summer. Honor By August is finishing up a couple more songs for the re-release of their album "Drowning Out the Television". Juniper Lane is also finishing up their new album this summer and it looks like Joe Zook (Remy Zero, Modest Mouse, Tricky) will be mixing.
Congratulations The Wait from Zox was released this month on Side One Dummy records. Zox is also featured on the Warped Tour Compilation along side Saves the Day, Relient K, Motion City Soundtrack, and many more. Catch Zox on the Warped Tour this summer and in England at Leeds and Reading Festivals later this summer. Congrats to The Motion who were recently featured on 96 Rock in Raleigh. Jack's House have been busy this spring. The band headlined the 930 club for the first time and were featured on Decent Xposure's and Sunny D's first compilation.

Winter Updates

Congrats go to Army of Me on they're recent deal with Atlantic/Doghouse Records. Zox have been named #1 New England Band by 95.5 WBRU (the influential alt-rock station) and had 3 singles named by WBRU and WEQX in the top 100 songs of 2005. "A Little More Time" and "Thirsty" from The Wait have been featured on MTV's The Real World and The Gauntlet. Congrats to Zox on the continued success. Honor By August won a chance to open Bon Jovi in Washington DC. Thanks to XM radio for making it happen! Ted will busy be in the studio working with Nicki Gonzalez, Jarrett Nicolay (VACO), The Blackout, ColourSlide (former Time), The Capulets, No Second Troy and more over the next few months. Be sure to keep checking the site, more music will be up soon.
